My immediate first reaction was YES, but I’m easily impressed with such “Angel’s Hair” effects with longer exposures of running water like this. Very dramatic.
Could you open up some of the shadow details or did you prefer it as is….as the upper right corner being so dark feels a bit ponderous, and if not, over weighted. I’m not so interested in seeing all the details of the embankment, but lessening the weight of it since it almost overwhelms the “Incredible Lightness of Being” of the white water…..
I don’t know if you consciously tied the white of the water into the sinewy curves of the white that threads and slithers its way into the sky virtually creating the much sought after “S-curve” redolent of Ansel Adams famous shot of the Snake River in Jackons, if you’ve ever seen that. But, if you run your mouse along just the white highlights, you’ll feel like a race car following the “S-Shape” I’m trying to describe. But all of this commentary has little to do with the immediate impact of this image. Excellent !!!! I presume you were tripod mounted.
