    So anyone with a point and shoot could have framed this photo, but two things are making it far superior (yes I said it again): first, the depth of field, which turns the photo into a lovely collection of shapes and colors and which surrounds a focal point that is masterfully positioned for just-enough-information; and secondly, the fact that it is on film – which adds texture and atmosphere that complement the shot, rather than the plastic, super-clean reality of digital.

    Type your comment here.Once again I see the left-handed orientation with the leading line guiding me from "right to left" as I discovered in your terrific shot of the stone mill on a river in New England leading me to inquire if you were left handed. As they say, if the left hand is controlled by the right side of the brain, and the right hand is controlled by the left side of the brain, ONLY LEFT HANDED people are ever in their RIGHT MIND ! Very fun image……I like the bokeh in the background too with the swirling circles of specularity
