I’d like to dedicate this photo to Al, aka The Sis, and to Don Delillo, because I couldn’t stop thinking about postmodernism when I took this.
Interesting fact: This shot was taken at the very same playground as this one, only a year and a couple of months later. Those monkey bars above the swing are the same ones featured in the previous shot.
The weather was pretty much the same, too.

I like the postmodernism and the rather bleak tones; however, I might suggest cropping the top of the image down so the top black bar forms an upper frame for the image (ie, still allowing us to see the famous water-droplet-bars). I think it would put more focus on the swing but still convey the necessary connotations.
