During one of my random and aimless treks through BPC, I stumbled upon an entire section of fenced-off grass through which these little guys were just starting to sprout. I thought it appropriate to the general mood of things here in NYC….

I love the colors in this one. I also think it’s awesome how the flowers look like disembodied heads because the stems are so out of focus.

Wow–superb colors and a really interesting viewpoint in combination with your DOF. Crocuses happen to be my favorite flower, too, largely because they are usually the first ones to come up around here.

Almost zero photoshopping on this one… this is what the little guys look like up close. Amazing purples….

Beautiful picture-I love this one and the last one. These are crocuses and I think the last one were amaryllis shoots coming through. Hope Spring is on it’s way!

Really, almost no photoshopping? I had assumed you’d worked on this one on the computer for hours. I like it more for being mostly natural. They still look slightly sci-fi, incredibly vivid colors (or colours)
