The first in your anticipated series, I presume? Very cool set of greens here, and a beautiful subject.

Made me think of the Druids of Germanic folklore. Intriguing shot. Also, a fun sort of invertigo, where branches appear to be exposed roots, and roots appear to be branches. The moss covered roots appear sculptural recalling the question during the Renaissance as to whether it was better to sculpt like a painter, or to paint like a sculptor. Mother nature being the ultimate artiste.
