I took this shot to test out my new 80-200 f/2.8 lens but ended up staring at it for quite awhile, so I thought I’d share.

    It certainly appears that the IQ is there. Are you happy with it so far?

    It looks as though things are Spiraling "IN" to Control, with the links confining the cable/rope in place.

    Terrific shots. Love the contrast, and how the curves of the cable go softly out of focus further contributing to the curvilinear feeling.

    Might be interesting to hand color this, whether with real painting or Photoshop, bringing out the rust of the calipers or carbiners or whatever they're called.
