A reminder that, despite the many nature-centric shots of late, I’m still very much in NYC. This was taken on the roof of my apartment building. The large building in the center is just another apartment high-rise.
I hope this illustrates my claim that there is no “golden hour” below the rooves of NYC — especially not on the east side.

Andy, I like this shot. It’s peaceful but also shows New York’s gritty side. I’m glad that you’ve picked up your camera again to shoot your Roof and the great tree roots! Bring your camera to Vermont this weekend…the colors are no less than inspirational! Cheers, G
