Light Tunnel

It took me a long time to decide whether to post this in color or black and white. I am still not entirely convinced that I made the right decision. I’ll probably change my mind — stay tuned for that.

Saw Batman Begins last night. If you haven’t seen it yet, don’t read this paragraph. If you have, please correct me if I’m wrong in saying that, as far as I can tell, Batman doesn’t save Gotham at the end. The Good Cop does by blowing up the bridge. Couldn’t Batman have done the same thing, alone? I mean, Liam Neeson was still going to ride that train toward Wayne tower, so couldn’t Batman have just jumped into his (admittedly pretty darn sweet) Tumbler and blown up the bridge? Why, then, did he choose to jump on the train and get his butt kicked by Liam and then, at the last second, fly away and leave the latter for dead? Talk about a passive movie — that’s all they ever do. Not my favorite movie.

With that said, I have a busy day ahead of me. I should probably hop to it.

How exactly did you create this image?? It looks as though you created an offset mirror effect…or am I just misunderstanding the architecture of this tunnel structure?

Black and white is always good. Though it would have been nice to see what the colors were. Alas, no more hours spent looking at photos at Midd (that depresses me to a surprising degree, actually.)
