Yeah, I agree. There’s so much in this photo — I was just talking with my US History students about the concept of the American Dream and I think this photo really touches on that.
I wanted to call this one “Working for freedom” but I thought it would be projecting too much on the main character. I saw him again today, though, holding more cotton candy and standing in pretty much the same spot. Kind of sad, really.
