Really nice contrast and range of tones here, and a beautiful, foreboding sky. I also like the sense of several distinct "distances" – the foreground ship, the sailboat and lighthouse in the middle distance, and then the mountainous background.
Here's my one sticking point: I'm having – in the words of Don – a slightly difficult time knowing where to look, and I think I've realized why. The foreground ship leads very strongly into the shot, but it is interrupted by the prow of the large ship to the right. Without that ship – not that you could have asked them to move it – your eye would lead more easily and fluidly to the sailboat, and the lighthouse, and out into the water beyond. It's an annoying point to make, I know, because you could not add or remove the components you were given, and the shot has so many other merits. And I like the offending ship – it looks quite seaworthy and even faintly militaristic with its destroyer-like bow. Just giving you my honest response, since I know you will never hesitate to give me yours.
A final note: that wrapped up…thing, on the upper right, is awesome.
