Empty Lot

This, I think, will be the title shot for my “Nature vs. City” project.

    You've left no wasted space here, Andy, and your strong pull to the left of the frame is quite compelling. There is so much to look at, and so much detail – from the tree in the "yard" to the details of the skyline. I think this is indeed a perfect shot to headline your project. Well done.

    I like how despite the "postcard" view of downtown, this is not a postcard picture at all, and the focus really ends up on the tree. I know that was your intent, but it's still impressive, given the amount of detail in the picture. And hey, I was there when you took it, so hooray me, and the overlook from Brooklyn Heights
