Edge of Iceland

Since I’m getting kind of bored of my NYC shots lately, and I’m not getting out much to take anything new, I thought I’d do a retrospective of the shots I took in Iceland but didn’t post the first time around.

This was taken in Bolungarvik, where this old radar base was installed by the US during WWII.

Great to see some new shots from Iceland, Cog – keep 'em coming!

I know we've talked about this shot a bit already, but I want to reiterate the great framing and sense of scale here. What a phenomenal place. My one suggestion would be to bring out the foreground a bit. It's got a lovely color and interesting texture, but I think you might be able to get it to pop out of the photo a little more.
