I like the picture, but I find the event to be such a stupid, waste of time. I guess I just don’t belong in NY. BTW, I think you’re camera’s date is off since Flickr says that you took the pictures on Feb 19th.

Tim, I would like to ask you to explain yourself. Why is it a “stupid waste of time?” How is it worse than, say, shopping or watching TV or surfing the net, which I’d argue are practically the only alternative activities for a Saturday afternoon. What about getting together with a bunch of strangers and having some unusual fun is stupid?
Anyway, I found the event to be most enjoyable.

What a great candid shot. This poor guy looks like he took a really hard hit! Love how you were able to catch the flying feathers in this shot AND keep your depth of field minimal as well.

Actually, karsten, there was a rule that stated that people could not swing at cameraholders. That doesn’t mean that I didn’t get hit — or that my camera didn’t get hit — but come on, they’re pillows. And most people were too high to do any real damage.
