Yesterday I went shooting for the first time in quite a while — I guess I’ve been pretty busy lately, and photos haven’t been at the top of my list — until I started to run out of stuff to post. Anyway, I took yet another tour of my “stomping grounds” here in NYC, this time looking for color(s) and anything related to them. I guess I was inspired by going to the Met two days ago.
I’ve gotta say, I am now going to make a point of looking for color every time I go shooting, since a few of yesterday’s results are quite pleasing, I think.
I’m also experimenting with a new post-processing technique, at least with some photos. It’s similar to the look created by my Walkify action, but it’s different all the same. You’ll hopefully be seeing that difference in the next few shots.

man, I knew I should have posted my phonebooth photo! now there’s an unflattering basis for comparison.
